Master's program reflection
Master's Program Reflection:
Well, I made it through the toughest, but best educational experience of my life, my Master's Degree. What a great program and a great group of professors to study under. I learned so many great things, and I feel very prepared in the career that I am heading into with Round Rock ISD as a full-time Adapted Physical Educator. I am so thankful for all of the hands-on experience that I received. I feel like that is what prepared me for my career. Yes, the classes were helpful and very informational, but going into different districts and having the opportunity to be "in an APE's shoes" is what really gave me the experience I will truly benefit from. If I could recommend a program to any one interested in Adapted Physical Education I will definitely send them to Texas Woman's University. There were so many certifications, experiences, and people that could potentially help you in a future career that I left that program with. I enjoyed the intense, yet beneficial program and I know that I will be prepared when I begin my teaching career in the next few weeks. Big shout out to the Professors at Texas Woman's University (Dr. Silliman-French, Dr. Davis, and Dr. French). You really made my experience through the program one that I will never forget!
